Finally on our way to a new adventure!!

We had a great time in Culver, OR visiting with friends and family!  Although, we were also working our bums off getting things organized for a yard sale and then getting what was left back into storage.  We did make quite a dent in the possessions in our storage unit.  Hopefully, by next Spring, we'll be totally FREE.

After we got everything out of the storage unit, we put everything behind our 5th wheel in piles.  Believe me, this was only a part of it.  Thanks to our friend, Bill....and also Richard for helping us.  We'd have never gotten it done by ourselves.
As we had time, we went through each box and decided what to do with it.  Some was put in the yard sale, some was given to friends and a lot was donated.
Oh gosh, the inside of our 5th wheel looked really bad till we got everything gone through.  Should have taken a photo just before we left with it all clean and tidy, once again.  :-)

We spent almost 3 weeks in Culver, visiting friends and our Granddaughter and her hubby and staying in our friends, Richard and Jeri's, yard...right next to their home.  They were on vacation when we arrived but had told us where to park and informed the neighborhood that we'd be arriving.

They were GREAT hosts and made us feel so welcome.   We had many visits and had a lot of laughs!!!

They even let us have our yard sale in their yard!!!

We got to know some of their neighbors and one, in particular, Amy, welcomed us to the neighborhood, the day after we arrived by bringing us over a yummy cheesecake   During our stay there she brought us other baked goodies.  She is one busy baker!!  And, we were lucky recipients!!!  The night before we left, she brought us a cake for Halloween.   Isn't it cute??  And, it was GOOD, too.

But, that's not all, before we pulled out, the next morning, she brought us over cupcakes and brownies to eat on our trip.

She is was such a blessing to us!!!  Thanks Amy!!!!

Bye Culver.....till we see you again.

The morning was beautiful and I was so happy to see the Three Sisters and Broken Top off Hwy 97.  I miss these mountains when we are traveling.

Have a great day!!!
