A Few updates
Hi Everyone,
We made it home to Central Oregon on September 13th!! YEAH!!! We had originally only planned to be gone till the middle of July at the latest....but things didn't quite work out that way. But, you know the rest of that story :-)
Our Granddaughter and her husband brought dinner over on our first night home and we played Pinochle! It felt so good to be with them again! We had been gone much longer than we had anticipated.
We ran errands all day on Thursday the 14th and then met with some friends for dinner and a good visit!! Then, Friday 15th, we headed for WA to take part in a 50th anniversary surprise for some friends on Saturday the 16th.
The rest of the time here has been spent with our Granddaughter (who is staying with us in our RV while we are here), visiting friends who came to visit us or invited us over to their homes to visit.
We have spent a lot of time trying to get our 5th wheel organized with the things we were able to get from the storage shed when we stopped in OR. The rest of our things will be waiting for us when we get back next week. Whatever doesn't fit, we will be having a yard sale at our friends' house one weekend before we head out again.
This has been our view out our dining room window for the past couple of weeks. Thanks to special friends who gave us a place to park on their property for the time we were here and the use of their laundry room. Thanks so much, you guys!!! You have been a true blessing!!
While here, we have been able to partake in as much corn as we like, fresh tomatoes, apples, rhubarb.....and get to watch the cows going up the lane and we even saw a newborn calf, just after it was born.
But, the peace and quiet and just being able to relax before we head out again, has been what we really needed!!
I have a lot of photos I want to share but will have to wait till we have better Wi Fi as it takes days and sometimes a week for the photos to come in from my phone to my e-mail.
We've been asked, "What's Next?" Since we missed out on volunteering with Volunteer Christian Builders while we were back in the Midwest. So, we are now looking at our other options.
One option is to go to several cities/towns in TX where they are helping to repair churches that were in Hurricane Harvey. David needs to contact the crew bosses and see if they can still use our help .
But, first, we need to clean out our storage shed, have a big yard sale to get rid of items we can't take with us and then we'll know exactly when we will be available to volunteer. IF we do go down to TX, there are enough jobs to last us through March!
Please pray for us to get a clear answer from the Lord!!
A lot of you have asked if we would share some photos of our RV on the inside. So, I am adding those pictures. Remember, we aren't finished making it a 'home' yet so you may see a mess or two :-)
Bathroom
Closet in Bathroom and there are more cabinets to the left of the shower, but I didn't get a picture of those.

Sorry about the lighting, it was the best I could do with the cloudy day I had. Once I get the stamp room/office done and organized, I'll share some photos of those too.
