Hello.....some of you may have been following me on my other blog, http://Pawsn2stamp.blogspot.com and have asked that I do a travel blog. Some of you know the story or how we became interested in volunteering with VolunteerChristianBuilders.org and that is what we are getting ready to do. The name of our blog depicts the very thing I said when I had been talking to a friend via e-mail and told her how we had been tossing the idea around for over a year and I was getting so frustrated because we couldn't decide what to do.....sell the house or stay. We couldn't go do what we wanted if we didn't sell the house but on the other hand, I LOVED my home. So, one day, I told her "I am so frustrated, with the back and forth, back and forth trying to decide whether to do it or not, I guess someone is just going to have to knock on my door and ask if we want to sell the house and I'll know it's from God" Well, not even 20 minutes later, the doorbell rang...

Celebrating our wonderful Annie's 14th birthday, today!!! Now onto my blog post for today!! We have been at Pineywoods baptist camp volunteering since the 3rd week of January up to the present. I thought I would show you some of the work the guys were doing on the newest lodge that is being built. I waited till the job was almost finished (or the part VCB and TBM played) so that you could see the progress made. The first two weeks, that we were here at Pineywoods, I was down sick with the flu so I missed taking a lot of photos. But, you'll get the a gist of what goes on here. Some of the first jobs David was given to do, was sand, router and poly boards that would go on the insides of the dorms. Since I was still sick, I didn't get photos of those. When I was finally able to get out and about, he was routing bed parts for the 28 bunk beds that would go in the dorms. Here they are assembling the bunk bed frames. And, a photo of t...

Weird Post

Hi Everyone, I got a post today, sent to my Travel Blog that was sent out a couple of years ago to my Stamping blog. I have no idea how that got sent, although I got it in my inbox and another person told me that they received it. I was updating both blogs, the other day, but I didn't send this blog from my Stamping blog from past June, to my Travel blog today. So, if you received it, I apologize but it didn't come from me. It WAS a blog I had sent way back before we started RVing but am not sure how it got sent again and to a different blog. Anyway, hopefully it doesn't happen again. Have a great day!!! Char
